Alice Ledford, RYT-200
Alice was blessed to be born to a yogi mama and has been practicing yoga her entire life. After having children, she was called to deepen her yoga practice and completed her teacher training at Asheville Yoga Center. Alice is now a Registered Yoga Teacher through the Yoga Alliance. She is currently raising two young yogis and loves finding creative ways to show them the benefits of movement and mindfulness. In her youth classes, she hopes to empower children with a safe space to explore the practices of yoga for physical, social and emotional health. She believes that children are our greatest teachers and she aspires to soak up their lessons daily. Check out her adult class schedule at www.asanawithalice.com

Using storytelling and songs, students will explore yoga poses, increasing flexibility, balance and motor skills. Basic mindfulness practices will also be introduced, which have been shown to regulate emotions and help children concentrate. Respecting Covid-19 guidelines, class size will be limited to 8 children and we will meet outside as an extra precaution.
