Ballet

A highly technical form of dance in which the dancer learns vocabulary along with alignment, grace, and fluidity. This is a highly encouraged class being it is the base toward perfecting all other forms of dance.

Choreography

A class for the very dedicated dancer to learn how to choreograph a dance through improvisational techniques and teaching skills.

  • Prerequisite – Dancers must have at least one year of dance training through our school and have taken ballet.

Dance Conditioning

A class in which the dancer will be motivated in learning extra technique, strength training, stretching, turns, and leaps to better themselves for their weekly technique classes.

Hip Hop

A street form of movement traditionally performed to hip hop music.

Jazz

A form of dance in which rhythms and technique are combined to create movement that is theatrical and engaging..

K-1st Grade

This is a class in which young minds will be stimulated through movement and music. It helps students to understand the discipline of dance while still having fun.

Liturgical

Performance dance done to Christian music and performed at local venues.

  • Prerequisite – Must be taking at least one technique class to be a member.

Lyrical

A style of dance in which fluidity and grace compliments the music in using various other forms of dance techniques based from ballet.

Modern

This form of dance is a free and expressive encompassing more grounded, pedestrian, contraction and releasing movement.

Musical theatre

 A class in which the students will dance and act as to entertain and play in specific characters or roles

Pre-Pointe

A class in which the dancer further develops their ballet technique by strengthening their muscles and preparing proper alignment in hopes of moving un to Pointe shoes.

Pointe

A class in which the dancer further develops their ballet technique en pointe. The dancer will continue to strengthen their muscles and alignment through grace and discipline. 

Prerequisite : Pre-Pointe

Pre-K

The beginning platform for dancers to begin their journey through dance. They learn the beginning fundamentals all dancers need to continue their love for movement.

Tap

A style of dance performed wearing shoes fitted with metal taps, characterized by rhythmical tapping of the toes and heels

2nd-4th Ballet/Tap

This is a class in which the dancer will continue to grow through movement and music. It helps students to better understand the discipline of each style in a more mature manner while still having fun.

Adult Ballroom

7 Week Dance Program learning the basics of Ballroom and beyond. Composed of the following 6 core dances, of which 3 are Smooth and 3 Rhythm. Smooth: Waltz, Foxtrot, Tango And Rhythm: Rumba, Cha Cha, East Coast Swing 3 figures will be taught in each 45-50 min class

First Session Begins September 10th at 7:00. Registration is $120.00 per couple, and $100.00 per couple ages 60 and up.

Music and Movement

Age 6 months to 6 Years - Introducing our new creative Music and Movement class for toddlers and their grownups with Miss Alice Berry. This class is designed for children to develop fine and gross motor skills through the art of music. Through movement, little ones will develop social and communicative skills along with mind and muscle memory to build developmental skills for the future. You will also be building lasting memories of love and friendship with your little one and other families.
